The Trois Rivières Plantation was established more than 3 centuries ago and today, it is remains a vital part of the history of Martinique. It derived its name from three rivers: Saint Perre, Oman and Bois d’Inde, all of which border sugarcane fields. At the start of the last century, the Plantation started manufacturing Agricole rum exclusively. In the preceding two centuries, the Plantation was solely focused on the production of sugar.
