Once reserved for ambassadors, dignitaries, and Colonel Albert B. Blanton’s closest friends, Blanton’s Original Single Barrel Bourbon was the first of its kind—a single barrel bourbon that set the gold standard in 1984. Today, it remains one of the most sought-after American whiskeys.

Blanton’s is hand-bottled and hand-labeled, with each bottle topped by one of eight unique horse and jockey stoppers, spelling out B-L-A-N-T-O-N-S. Together, they form a visual story of a horse race—from start to finish.

Born in 1881, Colonel Blanton dedicated his life to the art of bourbon. Starting at the O.F.C. Distillery at age 16, he worked in every department before becoming its president in 1921. He led the distillery through Prohibition, the Great Depression, floods, and World War II—cementing his legacy as one of bourbon’s great pioneers.
