About Colonel Albert B. BlantonBorn in 1881, Colonel Blanton dedicated his life to the art of bourbon. Starting at the O.F.C. Distillery at age 16, he worked in every department before becoming its president in 1921. He led the distillery through Prohibition, the Great Depression, floods, and World War II—cementing his legacy as one of bourbon’s great pioneers.
